しかし知識は増え、条約が締結されるも人の環境行動は鈍い。そこで個人が全球の自然を意識し、愛おしく感じるような「全球感覚/Sense of Globe」が必要だと考えました。自然記録と自然体験とが時空間的に拡張されることで醸成される感覚です。時々刻々と変化する自然を記録公開し、その時々に実時間で体験する人が、世代を超えて全球の自然を共有するのです。サイバーフォレストはその実験プロジェクトで、サイバースペースの中に実時間体験ができる自然と、それを記録公開する仕組みとを組み込んでいます。

The UNESCO Chair on Nature-Culture Linkages at the University of Tsukuba organizes capacity building workshops yearly since 2016 for the Asia- Pacific region. The first and second workshops entitled "Agricultural Landscapes" and "Sacred Landscapes" respectively have shown the need to work further on raising awareness on the importance of linking nature and culture in heritage sites.
The UNESCO Chair will hold a roundtable with focus on capacity building and where to capture ideas and opinions from State Parties' delegates, especially mid-career and young professionals, in and beyond the Asia- Pacific region.
The purpose is to discuss on the role of capacity building and institutions of learning, what are the gaps and needs locally, in order to contribute further in the creation of platforms for the exchange between cultural and natural heritage practitioners.
The UNESCO Chair: The UNESCO Chair on Nature- Culture Linkages in Heritage Conservation at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, hosts Capacity Building Workshops on Nature- Culture Linkages in Heritage Conservation (CBWNCL) in Asia and the Pacific since 2016.
Target audience:
Heritage practitioners from Asia and the Pacific working in the culture and nature sectors.
